It’s Summertime
I’m a mess today, I tell you what. I’ve been out playing in the pool. I’ve been out having a good old time cleaning the pool… working in my garden. Went to lunch in my sandals and T-shirt and dribbled stuff all over my shirt.
The point is that it’s becoming so beautiful outside, so summer-like… that it’s becoming very difficult to want to come back inside and do radio shows, and do anything for that matter.
You Don’t Know What You’re Missing
It’s something that, until you’ve reached that point in your life, you’re not going to know what you’re missing. I’m not trying to impress you with my lifestyle, but trying to impress upon you that I used to work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week in corporate America.
I’ve never understood what I was missing. I had no idea how wonderful life was. I remember when I quit, the first thing that really struck me was how beautiful the world was, especially in Houston and Dallas. Blue skies, hot… just an incredible way to live.
The Ability to Do Things
I’m sitting here right now and I’m trying to figure out a way to share with you what it is that you’re missing out on in life.. to have a life, to be able to do stuff.
To be able to go places and do things… to be able to afford them and not worry about them… and more importantly, to be able to have time to do these things… it’s so important.
I work hard at trying to find ways to motivate you guys to go out and produce passive streams of income… but it doesn’t seem to click.

Best show I’ve heard in a while. Sometimes you have to step back from the real estate nitty gritty and remember why it is that we choose to make the extra effort today. Thanks to rental real estate, neither of my parents have had to work since 1976. By the way, I was born in ’81. I’m not there myself, but I’ve seen what freedom affords you; most importantly, time spent doing what you’re passionate about. Always remember what Stephen Covey says about beginning with the end in mind. I know what I’m working for…do you?
