On Wednesday’s Del Show, the first thing he started talking about was time. How people use time, and perhaps waste time. How time is very important and should be valued.
I’m reading a book for the second time called, “The Millionaire Inside.” It says that one of the things that separates the middle class from millionaires is time. Millionaires value time, not money.
It’s not the money, it’s the lifestyle.
As we say, “It’s not the money, it’s the lifestyle.” We’re building wealth, and we are making money, however; it’s what we get to do once we have passive income. We gain time.
How do you gain more time? You really don’t because I don’t care if you’re homeless or if you are a billionaire, you are equal in terms of time. Nobody has more time available to them. Everybody has the same amount of time, no matter if you’re homeless, a millionaire, a billionaire… everyone has the same amount of time.
How do we use the time we are given?
It’s how we use that. The millionaire mentality says, “I value time.” They do things to free up time. They’re not cutting their grass. They’re not doing their own taxes. They’re not cleaning their own pool. They’re probably not washing their own car. They’re getting people to do those things.
So you get people saying, “Well, I’m not there yet, how do I get there?” One of the tips was to make a little change and have somebody cut your grass. It’s not that much. Quit going to Starbucks for a week and you’ll probably have that covered.
The point is: you can make little, subtle changes to start setting yourself up to live like a millionaire. One of the things we talk about is: by having passive income you can actually develop a millionaire lifestyle and not even have a million dollars.

I like the concept. There are all these things I want to do, but never have time for. Working at a job is a drag!! Now if I can just speed up my investing, then I’ll be there.
