Sometimes they’re basing their information on months of inventory. In Texas we have just about seven months of inventory and that represents a pretty stable marketplace, where in many parts of the country it’s well over nine, ten, twelve months of inventory. Some of these data sets include refinance appraisals, and they count that in their calculations.

So what I’m suggesting here is that I don’t think it matters. I think that when you look at these short-term statistics, I don’t think it matters. Trends may be useful, but you’re looking at long-term analyses of trends.

Many people blame their success and failure on what they’re given in life and the truth of the matter is it’s not what you’re given it’s what you make out of what you’re given that makes all the difference in the world.

Success is an inborn and/or learned trait that comes from your innermost self that says I will be successful. Because no matter what it is they put up against you in life, it’s only just an obstacle; it is not a stopping point. It’s just a test, and you can get around it if you look at it the right way.
