Southpark: How Not to Get to Disney World

by Stephen Davis on March 27, 2009 · 4 comments

At the beginning of every show I mention the principle that “only when you have the right map, does hard work, education, caring and commitment become effective.” As doctor Stephen Covey of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” notes, “all those things can possibly do (with the wrong map) is get you to the wrong place faster.”

I believe the goal is peace, joy, love, wealth, health and happiness. Let’s call that Disney World. In this 1 minute clip, you see it. People who have never been to Disney World, teaching people (their kids who they love) how to get to Disney World going to invest with people who have never been to Disney World in a vehicle that is not designed to get you to Disney World.

These people are not stupid or malicious in most cases. Just stop listening to them and get a mentor that has the results you are trying to achieve.

Andrew Carnegie put it something like this: Stop trying to reinvent the wheel. Simply go out, find someone who has the results you want, and imitate them.

Get a mentor, read and get going. Get our reading list and listener kit by clicking here and enjoy this 1 minute, hilarious video. { 4 comments }
